Miep Gies

I just finished reading Anne Frank, Remembered The Story of the Woman Who Helped to HIde the Frank Family by Miep Gies. I could not put the book down from when I picked it up this morning. It certainly gives the reader a personal account of how the war impacted those in Holland and the people who went into hiding.

Ms. Gies passed away this past January, at 100 years old.

Here is an interview with her answering questions about her life asked by schoolchildren in 1997.
