Be
the winemaker! “AWESOME”-blage. Join Paul and Maggie Bush for a private
blending party for 8. The event will be held in February 2016 in the barrel
room at Madroña. The participants will
be blending a Bordeaux style (assemblage) blend using 5 varietals from barrel.
These are the same wines that go into the Madroña flagship wine Quintet which
currently sells for $32/bottle. Once the final blend is determined, Madroña
will barrel the wines down, and bottle them when ready. Karen and Peter Wolfe have agreed to design a
special Imagination Theater label. Once bottled, each participate will receive
6 bottles of wine for their own personal cellar. The remaining cases will be
donated to IT! to sell at performances.
