Imagination Theater will be holding auditions for the very funny farce "Run For Your Wife" by Ray Cooney on Saturday, September 8th from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at our theater on the El Dorado County Fairgrounds. The cast consist of six men (ages 20 to 60) and two women ages (20 to 45). This play is about a taxi cab driver in London who has two wives and how he delicately keeps a schedule on seeing and living with them until one night when he sees a mugging take place and tries to help and gets knocked out and taken to the hospital. He gives two addresses where he lives and the investaging officers put the entire play into a farcical spin. Great fun, fast moving and side spliting lines make this a great challenge for any actor. Actors will use a English accent.
There will be cold readings from the script and some improvisations. We will rehearse most every Wednesday evening starting in September (once a week) then in January three nights a week unitl we open on Feburary 15th. Show runs Feburary 15 to March 3rd.
