Enjoy a visual treat with some stage and film tricks this Halloween weekend as the multi-media tale Dracula concludes at Imagination Theater in Placerville. Richard Sharp’s version of Bram Stokers’s Dracula is brought to life with exciting film footage laced throughout the play to enhance the story and give the audience a new look at an old tale. The high definition digital process was shot in several locations, including the historical Central Pacific Railroad Passenger Station in Old Town Sacramento, the Preston School of Industry in Ione, a private residence in Cedar Grove, and a private ranch in Pleasant Valley. Matinees for Dracula are at 2:00 p.m. and evening shows at 7:00 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday, October 30 and 31. Friday’s show is sold out. All tickets are $15 and are reserved. The show is rate PG-13+.
