We are always looking for ushers. The minimum age is 12 with a parent. If a student is in high school, then they are welcome to usher on their own. Our needs vary for our shows as sometimes the cast ushers. Usually, ushers sit along the center aisle and assist people who may need to exit during the show. Otherwise they are welcome to sit in an available seat. Ushers arrive one hour prior to the show start and meet with the stage manager for specific instructions related to that show. Ushers begin assisting patrons a half hour prior to show time. Most all of our dates are still available for The Secret Garden, so contact itplacerville@yahoo.com if you are interested. Ushers receive a complimentary seat to the show they usher.

More details on Run for Your Wife Audition
Auditions: September 8—9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Call Backs September 9—6:00 p.m to 8:00 p.m.
This madcap British farce is the story of mischievous London cab driver, John Smith, who has two wives, two lives and a tight schedule to keep! Trouble brews when Smith is mugged and ends up in the hospital. When two addresses are discovered, the police investigate and Smith becomes hilariously entangled in his own hopeless attempts to explain himself.
Mary Smith (John Smith's wife) She lives in Wimbledon, age between 20 and 35, a little reserved by very sweet and considerate.
Barbara Smith (John Smith's other wife) She lives in Streatham, age between 25 and 40, more outgoing, sexy, and playful.
Both ladies ages are appropriate but I will cast younger or older if they can play the parts.
Detective Sergeant Thoughton - Age 20 to 30, wears plain clothes, very serious about his work and very detailed orientated. Works out of the Wimbledon Police Station.
Stanley - John's good friend, who lives upstairs. Age 20 to 35, unemployed, somewhat lazy but dependable. He is a bit of know it all.
Detective Sergeant Porterhouse - Age 30 to 45, wears plain clothes, friendly and concerned about everyone involved in the case. Is detailed and takes lots of notes. Works out of the Streatham Police Station.
Both Detectives are investigating the mugging that John Smith was involved in. What is funny is that both Detectives have different addresses for John Smith and are trying to get to the bottom of this mystery with hilarious results.
Photographer - Age 20 to 25, works for the newspaper, and was sent out to get a picture of John (which he does not want) for fear that the other wife, Barbara will read it in the newspaper.
Bobby Franklin - Age 20 to 35, "Designer" feminent. A busy body, Barbara's new neighbor who likes to drop in unannounced. Very charming but talks too much. He is always having problems with his apartment and partner.
Time: Mid 1980's
Place: Two apartment's in outlying areas of London, Streatham and Wimbledon.
Fast paced farce, great opportunites for actors. More infomation call Director, Lanny Langston, at (530) 903-6361.
